The BIOMED symposium series was initiated in 1994 by the Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering Society (BDMD) and is organized every year—alternating between national and international—bringing together scientists conducting basic and applied research in biomaterials, tissue engineering, and regenerative medicine, along with medical device sector representatives and clinicians.
